Poverty and Health Care in the Jungle(51 images)
13 villages along the Rio Momon outside of Iquitos, Peru are working together to bring health care to their remote part of the jungle.
  • Oscar Huaita is the voice and face of the Peruvian American Medical Society Health Care Cooperative. Along with his assistant, Oscar travels up and down the Rio Momon actively seeking participation from villages and educating them on the advantages of a cooperative.
